Sherry Halkens is currently the Acting Executive Director and the Executive Assistant for the Development Corporation of North Platte (DEVCO). She manages the daily operations of the office and administers all DEVCO programs and activities.
Prior to joining DEVCO eight years ago, Sherry worked at the North Platte Area Chamber of Commerce for one year. She has a degree in Accounting and Business Administration and worked as an accountant for Colby & Company, CPA's in Tempe, AZ for eight years.
Sherry moved to North Platte from Tempe, AZ with her family. She is married with two children, ages 16 and 19.
